another year has passed.. =) final teenage year. whee! bet after this i'll be dreading the addition to my age.

anyway, 2007 seems to be a rather exciting one as far as i can see. heh either tragically or otherwise.

things to look forward to:
1) first day of the year - swing dinner and dance!
2) new semester! so looking forward to see how im going to survive taking 5 core modules..all 3000 level somemore.
3) 20th birthday =)
4) going on to lindy 3!
5) SEA JAM! basically a 3 day 2 night lindy camp. whee!
6) deciding where my life goes on from here.

im homeeeeee ~ im glad to be home. a hard week's worth of manual labor is draining and tiring but fun. it was a nice mix of people in the group and everyone was helpful and sporting. our hosts were so hospitable and friendly too! yummy food as well.. but now, i just need to rest =) hehe..and uh..catch up on some internet withdrawal..

im crowned ms. internet 2006. hahah~ thanks team. shall remember all of you for a long time. as advanced as technology may be and as convenient as it is, i think it can almost never replace the personal touch of receiving mail. the sweetness of reading something handwritten and receiving something touchable is many many times above the same thing found in an email.

dowdow went swimming today!! soo fun!! there's this Petgamart thingy at Pasir Ris Farmway 1 and there's this place for dogs to go play!! hehe..a small pool and big space for them to run around. i threw her in and she swam like a pro! heh..mom's friends came along and they have a bigger dog ..same breed as dowdow.. but much heavier and larger.. throwing that one in was backbreaking..haha and there was a huge splash =P

thought i'd use the time to write..

im being a 陪读妈妈 (pei du ma ma) for tonight. sitting in my room, staring at the screen, and imagine youre next to me and looking at those maps. you turn to me out of the blue, wondering what im doing, making small talk, complaining about the work in front of you...

really hope you finish it soon..feel a twinge of sadness whenever i think about the stress and the fact youre so many miles away.

you'll be fine..i know you can do it =) *and that cheesy song keeps playing...* Oceans apart, day after day...

i cant wait. good thing all my papers so far have been better than expected..judging by how much i really studied. just hope i can say the same for my results.. used to make fun of joel whenever he complained about the results being released near christmas..now i have to eat my own words as i wait for their release.. heh..

woke up to dowdow's whinings outside the door. let her in and she jumped on my bed immediately and dug herself between the covers. didnt think she was up to mischief cause it was early in the morning and she looked so adorable.
then mom came back from the airport and came straight to my room saying, "it looks like a toilet. those very dirty ones. like those in olden china! they might even be cleaner!"

oh boy..

spent half an hour cleaning up even before i could brush my teeth..sniff* no wait..dont sniff..might just throw up.

sigh* when will this dog learn?!?!
